Hi, its me! When I started this blog it was really as a way for me to keep track of my projects but since returning to work full time it has been let slide. In some sort of endeavour to record more of my finishes I thought I would try to put up more posts with some finished projects.
This was a wallhanging flimsy I put together as part of a sew along with Kristy of QuietPlay and finished in October 2013. If you don’t know of her, Kristy does fantastic paper pieced blocks and is also one of the three gurus behind Make Modern Magazine.

I loved these blocks but I was waiting until I had a
dedicated sewing space before I got around to quilting the top.
After we moved house three years ago (wow three years already!)
I had a sewing room to call my own and so I finally got around to getting this
one up on the wall.
Not sure exactly when I finished it but this photo is dated
March 2017! It doesn’t hang terribly straight so I really need to take it
down and check out my hanging sleeve. I remember it gave me some trouble when I
was putting it on. Either that or it needs blocking to get it to hang properly. Either way, its done and on the wall!
Welcome back to blog land - I remember you making those blocks!! Great to see its all done.
